Donate to 'Renovate Study Room' Fundraiser

In honor of celebrating over 100 years at Montana State, and in light of darkness of COVID-19, we are kicking off our 'Donate to Renovate' fundraiser for the study. Our study has not changed since the 1980's and is need of some serious love. Renovation plans entail the following:

• Remove current carpet and install new flooring
• Update internet network: rewire the study and bedrooms and install new/additional power outlets.
• Purchase large tables for group projects, individual study carrels, and new desk and chairs for every bedroom.
• Purchase new seating/lounges for late night study jams.
• Remove existing bookcase and build new shelving.

100% TAX DEDUCTIBLE!

By partnering with the Chi Omega Foundation, a 501©3 corporation, Sigma Beta can collect donations for improvements/renovations/construction for educational areas of the chapter house and all donations are 100% tax deductible.  No other capital campaign for the physical house would be tax deductible. By using the “Educational Area Housing Grant Program” (EAGP) offered by the Foundation, donations are tax deductible!

If you would like to name or dedicate a remodel in the house, please call Jodi Peretti.  Below is a list of remodeling areas and costs. This type of donation is NOT considered tax deductible unfortunately, but the need is big and you can forever have a sister remembered in this way.

• Back Stairs: $15,000

• Hallway (1): $10,000

• Electrical Wire Entire House: $50,000

THE RIGHT PLAN, THE RIGHT TEAM.

The Sigma Beta House Corporation (HC) was incorporated on March 14th in 1935 – that was 85 years ago! Jodi Peretti, our HC president, has been leading the management of our house for over 13 years. Here are some accomplishments the HC has completed:

• Operating in the positive since 2012!

• Replaced roof

• Fitted newly siding and new keyless entry system

• Replaced all the windows

• Installed underground sprinklers and professionally landscaped

• Installed new deck and front entrance remodel

• Installed external surveillance cameras

• Replaced carpets and repainted rooms and halls

• Replaced flooring in common area and house mom’s apartment

• Complete update of common area including furniture and lightening, fan etc.

• Replaced 2 boilers, 1 water heater and 1 compressor

• Updated wireless network

• New kitchen range with updated fire suppression system for hood and fan

• Purchased countless numbers of coffee pots, microwaves, washers, dryers and refrigerators!
